Not really, Pat and Hakeem were in the 6'10-6'11" range without shoes, it's sort of how Andre Drummond, Dwight Howard and DeAndre Jordan are all 6'9" and change without shoes, but with shoes they're 6'11".
Embiid is in that rare Shaq, Robinson, Kareem and Wilt class of being real 7 footers where they dwarf other guys who are listed at the same height
He's one of the best rim protectors & defenders in the league, last year he protected the rim better than Gobert. Health is the only thing that will stop him from ATG, the talent on both ends is entirely too much.

Zo had a 7'6" wingspan, makes up for lack of height when you're mobile like that and have a high standing reach + wingspan.

i saw timmy hardaway jr upclose and he is only few inches taller than i'm and nikka is listed at 6ft 6. i'm 6ft 2
but it ain't about the height though. it's about the length. zo and ewing also had long ### arms.
