Emely Martinez has been arrested for posing as a dentist in Florida, and using Crazy Glue on patients teeth. She advertised herself on social media as a veneer technician, promised beautiful smile makeovers. Instead, clients were left with infections, damaged teeth and hefty bills to fix the harm.

PINELLAS PARK — A woman was arrested Aug. 20 on charges of performing dental procedures without a license after patients reported complications from veneer implants, police said.
Emely Martinez, 35, faces charges including scheme to defraud, two counts of practicing dentistry without an active license, unlawful possession of personal identification of another and outstanding warrants for failure to appear and probation violation. She was also cited as a habitual traffic offender, police said.
Detectives began investigating Martinez in June after several victims reported medical complications from dental work she performed, police said.

The investigation revealed Martinez had been advertising and operating a business at 9150 49th St. N. under the guise of providing licensed dentistry services, police said.
The Florida Department of Health was notified of Martinez's arrest.

Really shows how broken the American dental system is when scan artists like these are thriving due to people's lack of access to decent dentistry.
Breh, i've seen cases where people pretend to be lawyers and win cases. and pretend to be doctors and treat patients.
Makes me wonder if these professions are really as challenging as they appear. or if the requirements educationally for them are just a form of gate keeping and keeping the value of what they earn high.
Not saying she did a good job using crazy glue lol,
but i have legit seen nurses that appeared to be more competent than doctors before.
