Makes me wonder if these professions are really as challenging as they appear. or if the requirements educationally for them are just a form of gate keeping and keeping the value of what they earn high.

A lot of them just didn’t have the marks to pass the exam so while technically not qualified, they can still do the actual work.

I think part of it is due to the fact that even those professions have had a huge glut of people enter them, with the access to the education being more obtainable, so inevitably people who are competent enough to get through school but are still trash and the leads some people to get used to trash practitioners to the point that even uneducated folks can regurgitate the base knowledge of their study and sound like they know what they saying
