Bruh, you just need probable cause, which is broad enough that police can get away with the shyt if they want too. NJ actually had tougher requirements that police had to meet before searching before this ruling. You talking to a nikka who had to go up the road for a dope charge after being legally searched for riding a bicycle without a light at night time. I know enough about laws to know better than to put any mental energy into how unfair they are.

Thats the name of the game almost everywhere in U.S. Cops could be like "he was nervous and sweating" or say they thought they saw a weapon in your car, after asking you some questions, and thats grounds for an "emergency search". Most states are like this. These cops in the states been had loopholes. NJ cops were just late to the party.

Just record them if they try to play you, u have it on tape. Problem solved.
