Eminem and 'Dre literally lifted Masta Ace' Blueprint for an MC and whitewashed him.

Given a choice i'm playing Relapse before TES.

I understand that the general theme could be off-putting but it's easily his best produced album and he was rapping his ass off for the majority of it. And not just on some rapping for rapping sake, Deja Vu, Beautiful are well written songs. I'd even say Same song and Dance is well written as a song even thought it's pretty :merchant:

That's actually what I would prefer his flow to go back to, he was in the pocket on that shyt, sounding nonchalant as hell while pulling off some ill shyt.

Because I respect your opinion / knowledge I will have to listen to it all the way through. Honestly, I never listened to it all the way. By that point I was over Eminem's music and would only casually check out songs because well, I have an addiction to all things Hip Hop

I dunno I was a fan of Masta Ace with the albums Slaughtahouse and Sittin' On Chrome in the 90's and that flow was different than his flow on Disposable Arts which sounded like SSLP/MMLP Eminem :yeshrug:

You said not a word about any of that shyt actually being good. No one gives a damn about his success. He is shaq at the free throw line when it comes to albums and if you're a real fan of hip hop then thats all you care about. Dude you quoted called his music wack and you trying to refute his points by saying "b-b-but he sells albums" tho:comeon:

The music speaks for itself. Encore and MMLP2 are his only sub par albums imo. You Cant criticize him and let somebody like Jay slide who actually fits the bill of being Shaq at the free throw line when it comes to albums.

Can we shyt on Eminem for more legit reasons at least? The Masta Ace thing is old.

Let's talk about how he recycles the same songs and concepts album after album.....
there's like a hundred threads shytting on Em for any reason you can think of

:mindblown: How did he get away with this. The flow, the lyrics, the swagger. Only thing Eminem did was wear silly costumes. Granted some of these are post-Em but you catch the point...

Ace didnt have the punchlines though and eminem was able to kind of bring a cac sense of artistry to his concepts and lines.

Hard to be extra specific past 5-10

My top 5 is solid for reasons that will probably never change.

1. 2pac
2. KRS-ONE
3. Rakim
4. Jay Z
5. Nas
6. Ice Cube
7. Scarface
8. Kool G rap
9. BDK
10. LL Cool J

That list has been that way for damn more than 10 years.
