Eh. Did you forget this is Mr. 'Line Em Up Like Columbine' with his little gun shot noises on MMLP? Didn't seem like he gave a flying fukk then. Proof getting his dome shot off is much more close to home than some kids in Florida on top of it...

The NRA lobbies for places like Detroit to continue to have guns freely roam those streets so the gun companies continue to make money. If I had to guess Proof isnt the only guy Eminem knew that has had his life taken from gun violence in the D.

I remember way more gun lines from Eminem than that

"I remember this one too:
When a dude's gettin bullied an shoots up a school
And they blame it on Marylin, and the heroin
Where were the parents at? And look where it's at!
Middle America, NOW IT'S A TRAGEDY
NOW IT'S SO SAD TO SEE, AN UPPER-CLASS CITY HAVING THIS HAPPENING
"

Point is, those don't negate the rate at which shyt like that happens now, the reactions to it, the motives, the mechanics becoming more common knowledge. If the amount of fukkery concerning mass shootings hasn't changed your perspective to some degree, in either direction over the last two decades you're probably an idiot.

That also doesn't negate the fact that even if he felt that way, the song is still pandering to a particular crowd.

I don't want to be a dikk or sound morbid/whatever but where was all this gun restriction talk when his friend got his dome blown off? I think it would have made more sense then, not when there has been a wave in this country. It feels like hes pandering, honestly. I know it's fukked up to say but he had plenty of times to talk about this in the past.
Wasn't a hot topic then :francis:

A nikka from the hood getting shot in a club during a fight is slightly, only slightly less jarring than 50-100 people getting killed by one person at a school or a concert
But white folks told me all lives matter :yeshrug:

"I'm in the club to beef, you gotta murder me there" - Proof.

:francis:

You right though, black folk killing black folk is only a hot topic in rap music or when cacs need a "what about Chicago" excuse.

Which is kinda what White America was addressing, that white people only give a fukk about something when it affects THEM.

Gun control was more so implemented to keep nikkas from getting guns and doing what these white boys do seeing how there would be plenty motivation. Long as we kill ourselves, sell as many guns as you can. But 'now it's a tragedy' when it's little white kids laying on the ground.

Regardless of whether or not he's right, he's become such a corporate puppet that he gets the Hillary Clinton treatment. Thanks but no thanks

Imagine hating a rapper so much that you hate him for taking a stance on social issues. Only on the coli.

Not even I hate Eminem that much.:mjlol:
Em made foolish pride, he needs to continue to make CAC music and parady rap for pre adolescent boys...Fukk outta here:camby:

Nikkas supporting em, when he's being a vulture with no fukks, using real world issues for record sales, gets a neg on sight...had enough of this shyt

You cats are weirdos, what buzz is he building from this when he is attacking his fan base? Maybe he became socially aware over the past year like a good portion of the American public? He gets props from me for using his position and reach to say something and I've never been a Eminem fan ever.
