First of all Melle Mell is automatically more relevant to hip hop culture than Game. Even if he was poppin, which he isn’t he’d still be lower on the totem pole.

Secondly, if/when Em responds to Doja it will be on his own terms to promote his own project, not when Game or Wack needs it for promo to pay off debts, that’s just stupid.

Trying to say that em needs to regain momentum is asinine though. He’s never gonna be impactful like he once was, he doesn’t have to be because his fans will stream his shyt forever (dude is always at the top of YouTube/spotify streaming lists), and I think he understands that. He’s basically doing it now because he loves his job.

I’ve read a couple articles where he admits he’s in a phase where he’s just trying to figure out how good he can be at actual, technical rapping. shytting on him because his current style isn’t something I rock with misses the point imo. He’s doing what he wants to do, and whoever rocks with it…

He’s gonna forever win cause his fans will always support no matter what. Everything he mostly makes now sounds the same and there’s nothing new unless it’s some new flows he’s trying to unlock. But most of the time I can’t listen to the shyt he’s saying on songs cause there’s nothing he’s saying, he’s just rhyming for the sake of it.
