you didnt really hear relapse to say that.
Relapse is wayyyyy more hardcore, for the hip hop heads
Recovery and mmlp2 is for the white girls.
nah MMLP2 was more like The Eminem Show. Though it had a few Recovery type cuts like Survival.

:dahell: I think yall are confusing the three albums..
Relaspe came after Encore, it was better but thats not hard to do, I remember everyone on here complaining about all the dumb ass accents he used and how he was yelling too much.
then he did recovery and dropped all of the accents tried to add punchlines although he still yelled.
and most recently it was MMLP2 which had rap god, which was nothing but bars, a little less yelling, but it sounds like he is getting back to his old ways as far as his flow.
Each album got progressively better..
Who cares about the outside world tho?
That show is all white people, this is a hip hop message board. 90% of the people in that crowd most likely don't even listen to rap other than eminem. When people say no one is checking for him they mean no real hip hop heads are checking for him, that sales shyt is is tiring to hear breh.

:heh: shout out to the internet, the only place you will ever hear that.. Im not even going to address whatever else you say..

It wasn't exactly palatable to the mainstream. It was an album for people who actually like RAP/lyricism, with a horrorcore theme (peep the redman influence) that had no real radio hits and sold the least amount of records since his debut.

No surprise the next album was pretty much pandering to top 40. Eminem is the only thing keeping them afloat in the music biz, can't have him doing terrestrial numbers just to please one section of his fans.

:snoop:

:wow: It's AMAZING how I feel the EXACT opposite.. I guess you cant group all of the people who like RAP/lyricysim into the same category...
Maybe some, most of us thought his last two albums were better overall pieces of work:yeshrug:
