I don't get the Eminem hate. The same ones talking about how he sucks now are the same ones acting like Wayne is still a good rapper, j cole is a great rapper, and Kendrick is the greatest. When is a fact that Kendrick has completely jacked Eminem for half of his flows. Jermaine is mediocre and will never be on dudes level and Wayne is average.

Don't get me wrong i think Lupe is the best out right now and I hated MMLP2 and wished he didn't listen to the critics on Recovery because Relapse was great.

But there is only a handful of MCs that can touch that dude

Yup in his prime he was a top 5 lyricist for sure, the way he put word together was insane. He was clearly as good as it gets in terms of pure rapping and flow. "The Way I Am" and "Criminal" still have me :blessed" to this day.

How dope he was made his fall off that much worse though, I can't even listen to him anymore these days. I used to be waking for every verse he dropped but lately I don't even check for his shyt, never even listened to the last two compilations he dropped outside the tracks with other artists.

His music has actually aged pretty badly though and his fall off has hurt that legacy as well.

Its funny those rappers you listed say jack shyt and they music is garbage, Em used to be nice and got a few tracks here and there but if you noticed after infinite he stopped being on the poetic skill side of things and took it to a more cartoon format immediately with SSLP. So basically that album shows skills but only a few tracks here and there are banging, MMLP same thing got joints here and there, TES (im a soldier, is probably my fav Em track if not top 5) but outside that he just started to rhyme just to rhyme.

anyone who has ever picked up a pen and been semi-serious with his rapping shyt will immediately spot a dude who rhymes just to rhyme its kinda gross you really got to be saying something and its got to be delivered dope. rap music lost all its presentation these guys dont even sound yet alone look like rappers. I give Em big credit for always staying hiphop when them others thought it was corny like jay and ye started acting and dressing like others while Em always dipped out and stayed representing hiphop.
