No one dislikes punchlines. I hope not. It’s the dad joke style punchlines that are weak.
you can tell he watches a lot of the current era battle rap. I hear it in his music.

After sleeping on the album, I've come to the conclusion that it's yet another solid offering from Em. Being an Em fan is frustrating though -- you listen and hear glimpses of brilliance then he dives off the deep end and do some dumb shyt. Over and over again. He just needs to focus on good memorable songs. The flappin around like a bapkin rhymes are void of deep meaning and drops songs replay value. It's emotionally draining to listen to that shyt some times.

I think that's fair. I really like Alfred's Theme for example, but it goes over 5 minutes. It would've been twice as good at half the length I think. Even though I enjoy his rappity-rap stuff more than others, you gotta rein it in sometimes, although the end with the beat getting cut off was kind of funny, so he is aware of his issue but can't help himself it seems.

I don't know about that and I believe that ship has sailed about 15-16 yrs ago for Dre to even push that experiment. Personally, I don't think a Em/50 collab album would go over very well. I wasn't impressed with the few tracks they did together in their prime: Gatman & Robbin' for example. Now the track they were on together Psycho, off the BISD album was dope.
The problem is 50 was done musically after 2009 and nobody is checking for his music and he acts like an overgrown 40+ yr old teen on IG. Then the other shyt he says & does... I'm good.

There's a few tracks that'll probably end up staying in rotation but there's nothing new or amazing here.
I often find the beats he picks really bland these days. He should go for a particular sound or collab with a grimier producer for a whole project, rather than the bland trap-pop mix he's went for over the last decade.
