Now the hating brigade arrives that supposedly thinks em has been washed for fifteen years and always drops trash yet they listen to it day one like clockwork…right.
That said I think it’s pretty good. Slips into the choppy robot flow here and there but the intro and some other tracks sounds more normal than he has in ages. Prob my favorite album since kamikaze off first listen. Might bump it up to best since relapse if it stands up. Those diddy punches were great.

Intro sounds like it came RIGHT OUT of The Eminem Show
Granted its more "Eminem sings the hits" but thats pretty much the only thing that works for the listener (most of MMLP2 and Relapse, Kamikaze)

Em's albums since 'Relapse' had been hampered by him getting sober, him being hugely successful and fans expecting to hear "shock" music...
He's been on a weird path where he'll start to "grow" as an artist but still attempt to leave in some of the shock value and he's been obsessed with his critics and obsessed with fitting a million bars into a singular verse....
That's why we got unfocused projects from him, he's been all over the place... you'll hear a political song from him or a great song like the one where he was talking about the Vegas shooter....
But then the rest of the project will be poor attempts at shock value etc...
On this project, he's way more focused and he's flowing better than he has in a long time.

I think that was kind of the idea to be honest. Slim is played out and that's kind of what he's going for
