I think him and bass brothers ain' cool no more.

Like I think They had a disagreement over money or something and they soft of made up but they just no longer work with each other.

Sad because they were the only producers that really "got" him. Like em was always musically ignorant, but could make great melodies in his head they could create to a perfection. I seriously think them not working together has made his output worse. Although Em sometimes comes through still it used to be him killing every fukking beat pushed in front of him.

Jeff Bass Explains Estranged Eminem Relationship

So he pretty much told them he wasn't interested in working with them anymore. :snoop:

It even says here that it was hard for them to work with him at first because he wasn't musical like that and they couldn't understand him but they were able to make tracks he could connect with emotionally.

1st half has me mixed, but second half was good. Sort of wish they were two different songs so I wouldn't have to listen to the first half to get to the second half :yeshrug:

Totally agree. If Em was going to make a politically charged album, he should have reached out to Kendrick for direction.. At least let Kendrick provide some creative direction for the tape. Eminem is still a monster lyricist, but his musicianship is totally lost at this point. He needs a mentor.

I could be totally wrong, and maybe he did reach out to Kendrick for consultation since they collaborated on MMLP2

I kinda feel like he did reach out or was inspired by Kendrick on this but in a poor execution. It has all his elements of a concept song he makes often(dual characters, beat changes, perspective rapping) just not as good

I appreciate the content of the record I really do. And hell even 15 years ago if he drops this as it is its fire.
But people are over his flow and voices and type of beats he used (which I dont think are bad, they fit him but general listeners might not fukk with it) so he needs to kinda evolve.

There's like a lot of rappers who did it and do it before both of them but what Im saying what would Kendrick help him with he doesnt do already? Make slow up and speed up his rapping, different voices/characters, sometimes slam poetry type flows?
And thats not Kendrick slander, hes the best right now but Im saying I dont think we would notice the difference if they did work together
