Washed up Em is still light-years ahead of Wayne as far as skills.

The only thing I give Wayne is beat selection. If Em was black, he could claim a gang and talk about dealin drugs and getting shot after he shot himself.

Yes, a wash in Em's favor.

People will probably chalk that up to 'stan' or say I'm biased but that's common sense shyt. I love Wayne on the strength that I practically grew up with him. I'm happy he's getting revered and getting his props but nah. I can see preferring his but music more but there's plenty of rappers who I prefer to listen to over Rakim that will never see that rank.

Devin the dude has a GREAT catalog and is even a dope lyricist in his own right, I wouldn't rank him over Wayne and that's even accounting for the fact that he's overrated as is.
