Take the shock value aside and you still have a masterfully rapped album. Stan is one of the most impactful hip hop songs of all time. Remember me, bytch Please 2 Criminal, Kill You, Way I am, Drug ballad and Kim still get rotation. It is Ems one lone classic even though I like Relapse better as an album personally. I also can understand people feeling the Eminem Show more. It was way better prodiced IMO.

he was literally 1 of the best in the game at one point and then just lost it

Well sounds to me like you're projecting your own personal feelings about EM into this. You don't know if they "respect" him or not.

Bottomline: EM's skills has been praised and publicly respected by many of your favorite rappers favorite rapper.

All that other stuff is you in your feelings:umad:
No I'm statin the facts you projectin your own personal feelins about Em into this by makin up bullshyt and bytchin at me

I never said they didn't say he got skills everyone knows he does but I know they don't sit around listenin to MMLP the way they do REAL hip hop classics.:umad:

You quotin me to pick up the argument where that clown left off is you in your feelins.:mspaintcamumad:

Jay also has a knack for working with lesser known artists as well. If he really wanted to attempt to capitalize on Eminem's fanbase, he could've made the song a single.

There's two other songs on Blueprint that don't fit the rest of the album: "Hola Hovito" and "That nikka Jigga".
Both of those songs fit way more than Renegade which sounds like it belongs on an Em album since it's clearly an Em song, and makin it a single wasn't the best way to capitalize on Em's fanbase since stans would just get the single or listen to it on the radio but this way they had to cop the album to hear it.

How are rabid Eminem fans supposed to know if Eminem is featured on a Jay Z song if it isn't a single? Again, if you're going with the narrative that Eminem is the only rapper that Eminem fans listen to, why would they cop a Jay Z album? They still aren't obligated to buy the album especially since they could've downloaded the one song for free.

when it dropped it was crazy i remember how word spread thru my school about how crazy the album was ect ect

looking back it hasn't aged that well still a lot of dope tracks but so many are filled with so many pop culture references and you see how petty Em was back than

many of the lyrics seem so silly and stupid now

:comeon:If they're rabid Em fans they're gonna know he's featured on a big Jay Z album especially since the song is one of his wit Royce, plenty Em fans only listen to him its mad cacs that say they don't like rap but like Em. Back then it was more likely that people would buy an album to listen to a song, hell til this day white folks buy albums even tho they can steal it and most of those Em stans I'm talkin bout are white folks. Funny so many of you posters on this "predominantly black" site are bothered by what I'm sayin.:mjpls:
