"Eminem spoke about his father in a 2010 60 Minutes interview with Anderson Cooper. He revealed he still hadn’t reconnected with him as he wasn’t really sold on his story about not being able to find him.
“If my kids moved to the edge of the earth I would find them, no doubt in my mind,” he said. “No money, no nothing, if I had nothing I would find my kids.”

I guess he could never get over him not reaching out until his fame which I get

I didn’t know he was Marshal too so Em is a jr :mjlol:

I mean she was the one that stayed but still passed her trauma from being abandoned onto Em since he looked like his dad and shared that connection. All of this was already covered in the Marshall Mathers LP & the true life documentary called 8 Mile.

but still, she did stay and didn't give him to the county so he probably feels she at least tried with her broken ass.

Still he barely mentioned him he made song after song mocking his mother

The last verse of "Leaving Heaven" is literally him shytting on his dad after he died. He even shyt talks him in the outro like Pac would.

It's hard to make music about someone you never met and barely knew. He spent years with his mother, so he had a lot more stories to tell. "Headlights" was him putting the beef to rest and he barely mentioned her after that (except for his last album, which was him fighting against his old self).
