It's not even about systems or usage, Mudiay has great great floor general abilities

It's not even a knock of Russell, but there's a difference between being a great passer (which Russ may be) and a floor general (which Mudiay will be imo)

It is very much about system. I'm telling you, Russell does not get the opportunity to run an offense like Mudiay does. He splits time on-ball with Clarkson, Kobe, and Lou Williams. Russell will be a floor general. You don't have to agree but I'd hate for this to be another "I told you so" moment w Russell...cause he definitely shows flashes of it. The times we've ran PNR Russell has executed perfectly

I don't see it happening but we'll see. I think he could be a very good passer, but he's gonna be primarily a scorer imo

I prefer Russell because he can shoot. They are horrible defensively right now but Mudiays defensive potential is way higher. Not sure he will ever be consistent enough as a shooter and decision maker to be a winning player though

How long until Russell has gets less than double digits in points again? Or when is he gonna get double digit assists?

Russell has played in 65 career games....scored less than double digits in 21 games (32% of his games in less than double digits)

Mudiay had played in 53 career games...scored less than double digits in 18 games (33% of his games less than double digits)

And Russell was coming off the bench on top of that and STILL has less percentages of his games scoring in double digits than Mudiay has this season

Or when is he gonna get double digit assists?

Doesn't matter. He averages 1 less assist than Mudiay since the ASB...and scores more while shooting more efficiently at that.

Russell hasn't cracked double digits in 3 of his last 10 games....which just so happens to be the exact same ratio (3 of his last 10 games) as Mudiay is currently on

Nothing you saying is adding up. If he better than russell why is Russell putting up way better stats. ?..Russell started off shooting poorly as well. Russell's shooting alone already make him an impact player. He's been scoring with ease since he's been starting again.
