It’s the parents failing most

In emoni case his dad couldn’t trust the process and for all the money they likely made doing what they did he’s been lapped by other kids and is now even further away from what’s as their goal; making it to the nba

That's the thing that kills me man. Sometimes the recipe is good enough. You can add your flair to it but end of the day there are basic steps you have to follow to make your mac n cheese, cake, whatever. Virtually every noteworthy (American) NBA player has gone to a normal HS/academy. Most then went to college. I've never seen someone fukk up the first step (HS) like this. Then he fukked up the college step. I get why Michigan State/Izzo wouldnt be a good fit but Memphis was arguably worse for a guy who needed to be developed. Even going to EMU felt like a questionable move.

I don't think this is going to end well but i hope i'm wrong
I highly doubt hes going to be a first rounder no major program wanted him, and best believe NBA scouts will take all of this into account.

At this point hes playing for his career its not like his dad is a former NBA player with connections, if he doesnt play lights out at EMU he might be lucky to play for the shanghai sharks.

he probably gets no playing time after what he showed last year
Facts the G league is filled with free agent NBA players, and young players with some skill Emoni at this point would ruin his draft stock if he did that because he is not ready to go up against NBA quality talent.

The skill gap is real a dude that avg 10 min a game for his NBA career would wash 90% of college hoopers, and would make Emoni look like a kid.

You got two elite programs in Michigan, a top 5 coach all-time in Izzo and Juwan Howard who is universally respected in the NBA and you choose to go fukk around with Penny in Memphis because you don’t want to work and want everything handed to you.

I don’t blame Emoni because very few kids have sense that young, you get special ridiculous IQ guys like Kobe and Lebron but that’s rare. I blame his dumbass dad. Everyone wants to be LaVar Ball these days.

college is great for developing players who are not at that point yet, it wouldnt surprise me if he stayed another year unless he balls out like crazy

And these dudes can’t be Lavar

Lavar used the same kinda playbook as Floyd: be a circus ringmaster and get the attention of those who love and hate you to take a look at the sideshow. Meanwhile you bring all kinds of talent to the table and secure the bag while everyone is running off at the mouth like some teenagers

Now you get a bunch of these dads who want to use the same formula and it just doesn’t hit the same. They don’t have kids with generational talent. They have kids who can make YouTube videos for Overtime

From what the word was this summer he had no other options but to go there. Supposedly Juwan and Louisville backed off him..leaving him with just EMU.

Somebody will pay for the lawyers
True, where he got pulled over at it wasn't needed, no telling where dude was going to/coming from though. The average cat is keeping some shyt in the whip these days.

I wanna know what the probable cause was to search that car.

And if he was dumb enough to consent to a search.
