I just think pedestals should be reserved for something a person does. Not by accident of birth.

If you can justify putting someone on a pedestal simply because they had the accident of being born white, then by the same logic you can denigrate someone simply because they just happened to be born black.

I think the general feeling on the coli is that there's nothing wrong with dating whomever you want to date.
