The writing is subpar ..the acting is bad at times....and the plot twist are extra....but the culture of the show is strangely homely for some reason

I watch "Star", but I no longer watch "Empire". The only episode of "Empire" I've seen this season is the season premiere because it aired as back-to-back crossover episode with the season premiere of "Star".

nikkas watch Power (which I watch as well) Love and Hip Hop and Black Ink(which ive never watched) and clown Empire......its probably one of the more positive shows out of all the menstrual show bullshyt on TV.......

I agree, yet its black entertainment. 10 years ago.......there were no shows like this on TV.......well Flavor of Love and that type of nonsense.......but as far as a prime time show like Empire on a national syndicated tv station? Even Cosby wasn't as abrasive with the aspect of black superiority......you got to appreciate that
