They are about to pass that coronavirus liability law soon. You won't be able to sue your workplace if you get sick so a lot more places bout to open. Safe or not

You came to work you assumed the risk. You taking normal PTO/PSL (no extras) normal pay and no liability from us. Oh and private health insurance no longer covering coronavirus treatment and tests. All part of the law.

I get it breh. shyts blows even though your blessed to have it.

more importantly, i dont understand why WFH isnt a permanent option if you can do your job at home. Our office space lease is up in 2 weeks. Instead of the company banking while we WFH and saving 25k a month. They rather find another place.

if anything, this time should have companies wanting to create a WFH policy. Showed is how meaningless the office is... mine did interviews with each member and multiple single ppl cried about being lonely and feeling disconnected smh.

We wouldn't be able to sue even if they don't provide a safe work environment. It's restaurants telling staff not to wear mask bc it doesn't look good. If those people get sick they're on their own.
Reopened restaurant told workers: Don't wear face masks — or don't work

I get if you come to work you're taking that risk. Make it safe to be there. Don't just open like everything is cool with no safety measures in place. That's the issue I have with this law. If you make it safe and I still get sick it's on me. I get it but don't make me choose working over my health.

I get that. I have a family tho. I get to spend my lunch break in the living room with my kids instead of spending it with people who could die and I wouldn’t lose sleep

It's some places not reporting employees as not working or not paying unemployment insurance. Some of them register their employees as quitting. Other places haven't closed yet so you can't get it bc technically you still work there. You might be able to get emergency unemployment but they have to talk to somebody from your job. If nobody is there they can't prove anything so you're just waiting.

My job is giving us a choice so people can WFH or go in, i’ll be at home but apparently its a lot of folks where I work just like the bolded :dahell: I dont get these people. Its like the thought of not being able to go to an office everyday so they can hear themselves talk drives them crazy.

I think the thing that will really suck is extra fukking policies and precautions that's going to make working feel more like hell than it should be. When it's all said and done, there better be a day for us retail folks because we are the MVPs that's not even getting a bit of armor in this Skyrim ass world. Word to the essential workers out there. Yall got love from Ace :wow:
