some more info that y'all probably know more about than me...

1. i missed two days and ended up making one of the days up on a Saturday and was told i didn't have to make the second one up...they took those 16 hours out my check and a worked 12 on the Saturday...anyway, when payday came, my boss called me on my route and told me that payroll fukked shyt up and forgot to put my Saturday pay in and they would pay me early next week...i ain't get that check until Thursday next week :usure: and my supervisor told me that they didn't tax it, but they would on my next check :what:

2. my $50 raise was supposed to come in on August the 15th but as of my last check on Sept. 30, i still ain't get it...i had to call the company they outsource our payroll to and ask them if it was ever put and but the bytch was just on some "oh, our systems are down and i can't check right now" :martin:
so when i get back to the office and bring it up to my supervisor, he's tells me that they sent the paper in but sent the wrong one in and they would pay me plus back pay on my check this week...:wtb:

man, ihate these muthafukkas...

mannnnn...i'm about to whoop these cacs ass!!!

I always thought time and a half was TIME AND A HALF ( as in hourly rate x 1.5 x hours worked over) but these cacs at my job done created division problems and all types of shyt out of my overtime...they really fukkin us by giving us an uncompensated hour lunch period everyday that we don't ever get to take (i work in lawn care --trash i know, i'm out after my moms receives her disability check)...i know by federal law they can't classify it as an actual lunch break, because lunch breaks consist of break where we're completely relieved of our duties...they tryna tell me since they were going through the Department of Agricultural, they adhere to a different set of laws...

why nikkas gotta go through this fukk shyt just to get a check :francis:

imma get on it tomorrow...i was talkin to my supervisor about it today and as soon as i mentioned the Fair Labor Standard Act, he tensed up...the COO of the company called me two times in a row earlier, but i ain't answer :lolbron:

might have to deal with a little static in the morning :yeshrug:

keep a written log of each & every incident: time, place, the person u dealt with, and a description of the incident.

this will help a lot if u end up lawyering up.

My job had us training iver lunch everyday for 6 months with a new program. Hed buy us luncj and call that even...

I make more than 8 dollars an hour so of course i was pissed in that tradeoff. I work in a small company of 15 people so iwas tur only one who complained and of course earned the wrath of my boss.

He just said im salary aka he can do whatever the fukk he wants.

sounds like an old job i had. we had 35 hr weeks. 1 hour lunch time where the bosses would harass you to get back to work, clocking you. then you had to work an extra 10 hrs at regular pay to even get to the overtime. shyt was trash. set up to keep mofos at work all the damn time

Nah, no union. We're "eligible" for an hour lunch (according to our Employee Handbook), but we don't take it so they shouldn't be able to charge us for it.

so why don't you just go take the lunch ? it's your right. they can probably argue if you aren't taking it that's your decision. that's why I always take mine even if it's at the end of the day after all work is complete. but I am union and overtime is expected so my company ain't trippin about it .
