Though I'm not feeling his production his real problem is that he's only compared to ehhhh old em... He's a better song writer and has been for a while but if he dropped MMLP people would complain and all that jazz. Like his content was just super on point on songs like Kill you and Criminal... etc... He's better technically... He's better in terms of crafting a song together. The same people that used to love vin vin vin... He kills most stuff but man he's a lame old white dude and often comes off that way. Appreciate the skill and just hope that someone disses him. I pray that happens.

His hooks and beats are garbage now .

His verses are 80% garbage now .

There's probably three songs on MMLP2 where he flows impressively. And it isn't forced technicality .

The rest he's masking lack of substance with double time or the stop start flow .

He's the definition of shadow of your former self .

In other words, I don't want to disrespect the great Larry Holmes with applying his smiley to Eminem, but the album speaks for itself

I think the problem goes beyond production...

I dont really fukk with his new style:

Even tho hes not yellin like he did on recovery... That double time try to fit every word in ur vocabulary in each bar flow is wack...

I dont think he's progressed lyrically... He may be experimentin with new rhyme schemes n is prolly focusin more on flow at this point... But its not doin it for me

His content is not entertainin' to me anymore... Aight u been the biggest music icon in the world for more than 10 years so u cant come off that fresh any more... We get it... But i also know he a true mc n he actually raps for the love for the craft.... So im sure hes always lookn to improve

His job is makin music... Hes sold so many millions of records hes one of the few artists who doesnt have to tour all year every year to make money... Hes got plenty of time to write better lyrics.... Its not all about new xperiences, he could actually draw inspiration from kendrick lamar whos not as technically sound as him... But is prolly better at paintin visuals n usin REAL metaphors at this point than him...

PS the production on this album was not up to par n he may need to look to the streets to see whats actually hot n what ppl wanna listen to

I think Eminem could go in with Alchemist just having fun and accidentally make a great album. I mean, Nas's "Book of Rhymes" was just Nas going through some old rhyme books and spittin' on an Alc beat. That song came out dope and it was really on some "One Time 4 Your Mind" just chillin' type style. I could see Eminem just going in the studio and just freestyling over some of Alchemist's beats and it come out dope.

Another producer that I'd like to hear Eminem work with is Timbaland. If he gave Em beats like "Open Letter", "F.U.T.W.", the second beat on "Picasso Baby", it could be dope. Even though this beat is old, I could hear psycho Eminem killing it:
