whats the best emulator to get?

i first found out about roms back in 1999-2000 (was in either 4th or 5th grade)

this was when it was hard as fukk to even get roms..bullshyt websites had you voting for their sites just to lead you to a dead end

i had an snes emulator and all i wanted to do was play yoshis island

when i fianlly found it i was like memories brehs

later on i found out there was an arcade emulator

when i was in 2nd grade after school i used to beg my mom to walk the long way home so we can go to the pizza shop so i can play/watch this game

looking back it would be days where it was freezing and she still took me in there...most times we didnt even get a slice i just wanted to play

then i finally got the rom of this and played it all night

just got a new gaming PC and im more excited about being able to run emulators than new games

im up on all the older stuff but does anyone know whats the most up to date dreamcast,n64,ps2 emulators out there? if they have roster updates for dreamcast nfl 2k5

all these years i have been using emulators i still haven't really heard of a good way to load all these things on a console that has a controller.

You can usually use a xbox or playstation controller. That's what I used when I had a PS2 and Arcade emulator

whats the best emulator to use and what site has the best quality roms,etc. Also want to know how to mod a game system to run emulators.
