Wow. This thread is completely dead. What handhelds are you all using? I ordered the Retroid Pocket 3 in the 16 Bit color option. I'm going to slap a 512GB SD in that thing! Can't wait.

This is an interesting device. I’d never heard of it. Its over $3k…wow. I will say it doesn’t look very ergonomic at all, for handheld gaming. Would you also be using this as your daily diver/main computer?
I have the Hades Canyon Nuc I use as my gaming PC but I just pre-ordered this below to replace it:

iu

It's the Minisforum Nuc i7x with a Nvidia 3070 GPU. The GPD would go in my room for use & I'd take it with me as a mobile device on trips. I'd use that to play games & emulators while streaming media when away from home

I got a 2+ but I'm tempted by the 3 because of that screen. I really waiting for a more powerful device that is under $150

The screen on the 3 is the same screen used for the iPhone 4 phones, so you know it looks good. Its widescreen design should make games look a lot better. More space. I had actually ordered the AYN Odin a few weeks before ordering the RP3, but I cancelled that order because I’m more of a casual gamer and the $300+ that I paid for that Odin…I just knew I didn’t need a device that expensive for my gaming needs. I just want something that I can play all my favorite games from my GBA, N64, GBA days of gaming. Nostalgia gaming, you know? Its such a cool time for emulation with all these handhelds and different platforms available. Who knows…maybe I’ll eventually get something more powerful, like the Odin…or even the steam deck (though, I doubt it re: the steam deck).

Steam Deck
I'm so fascinated by this device. The fact that some people are even using it as their main computer. Wow. Its way too much for someone like me--a casual gamer. Too expensive, too big, too much power for what I'll be emulating. It'd be overkill for me, but that's cool you're enjoying it.
