I don't how if this specifically the case here but domains auto-renew by default.

I own a couple included one I've owned for 10+ years and I never had to do anything, renewals were baked in. Sometimes, the info may not be updated right away, I dunno.

I assumed that was the case when someone fixed the JBO page a few months ago when it was broken and the other major IT issues the site experiences.
