Several over the years... one very notable one. hindsight- she was never a good friend, but I kept giving her chance over chance. As I get older, my definition of 'friend' also evolves. I have much higher standards, and I also try to be a friend according to those standards.

The older you get the harder it is to have friends there all the time. It's pretty much exclusive to family and people you consider family then
Don't want to be. As you seemed to allude to earlier in this thread, at some point these good friends stopped being good friends by "being on that bullshyt" or whatever. You have to drop a good friend? To me, that means you decided they were no longer a good friend and thus, worth keeping. So you bushed 'em. And there's nothing wrong with that. Hell, I'm about to be in that situation right now. I'm weighing pros and cons on my situation.
