how bout the infamous bait and switch with the prices on the menu or board...? Remember back.in the day the lady charged me a different price for oxtails (everyday customer at this point) and I mentioned it... Said they was market price like some wild caught Snapper or some shyt :dahell:

The price for fresh fish changes with the season breh, especially when it's imported :comeon:

he didn't grow up on the island, :francis:

:dame: Being born and raised in England doesn't make you English. It makes you British + whatever country your parents are from. Or you could go with the generic term: black British.

Big Narstie is Jamaican. You can add "British" to it if you want. :ehh:

He has Jamaican parentage, but if he is flying to Jamaica, he is going into the visitors line and not citizens line.

Just like the English players that play for the Reggae Boyz.. :camby::camby:they not really Jamaican :mjcry::mjcry: that's why the Reggae Boyz need to go back to using yardies who have a real connection to the island

It’s a shame seeing this food boom and Jamaicans getting no piece of it because we don’t take our cuisine seriously. Services, presentation, attitude, and pricing is all bad. It shouldn’t cost you $15 to walk out of a take-out joint with a Styrofoam box of food and a drink. It’s been my longstanding goal when I have some capital to open a Caribbean joint with a streamlined process.

And let’s not even get into the potential for variety in patty fillings. There’s such a massive opportunity here for our people, just being wasted.
good luck... but I don't see how you can streamline authentic Caribbean food outside of a couple items. I don't want yesterday's stew fish snapper.... I want it somewhat fresh. And you start cooking that everyday, you risk wasting food, time and money. Sometimes i gotta wait 30 minutes for my stew fish... and I'm cool with that. That's why I call ahead.

But now that I've just typed that, you could probably make a "ready" menu and a "call-ahead/wait" menu so people already know the deal.
