Tell em about our ppl. @Broke Wave @malcolmxxx_45 I'm done with Hamdis, Istaar and all them other bullshyt restaurants. You pay $20 for a lil rice, uncooked, old chicken or beef and dried out salad. They take too damn long, dragging their feet around acting like they're doing you a favor with that trash that they call 'food'. 2017=boycott Mali restaurants. Foh!

Let me take you to Xawaash tho that place is kinda cold

The trick is with Somali spots just like Jamaican spots the earlier in the day you go the better. Like from 12-4pm its pure fire but as the day progresses you know they're cutting corners and using that microwave

of all the places I've gone, I've never had problems with rudeness, only with how long it usually takes for the food to be ready.

The haitian ones dont got this problem cept they run out of diri kole dumb quick

You're from Ottawa don't they have really good Somali food up there? The Somali food in Edmonton oh my god is it ever TRASH I would rather turn vegan than have to eat that shyt.

Exactly at around 5/6pm they run out of hilib and start getting lazy by microwaving left overs for you. They tried it at Hamdis tho a couple months ago when I went to the west with my fam. Dude said we had to wait for our food for 10 mins. 10 mins turned into 45 mins. They gave us some nasty tea and told us to sit down while we waited. My sis and I were like, 'fukk this we're going to the car'. As soon as we left dude working the cashier asks my mom, 'where did your beautiful girls go'? We come back 20 mins later with my mom chuckling. She tells us what he said like, 'these girls do not want you. Finally, he tells us the foods ready. We look at the container and its half of said container. I shook my head and left.

Zero, They have tons of franchised Golden Krusts that sell food (not just patties) locally but they still suffer from the typical BS. I'm sure one of these restaurant groups will end up doing it one day and it'll end up like a "Caribbean/Tropical" Chic-Fil-A ... "It's a pleasure to serve you my yute"
