Its worth noting that affica has already skipped steps successfully in other areas. Many african nations skipped straight over land lines and dial up into 3G wireless internet. And quickly transitioned into 4g. A similar leap occured in banking where they skipped legacy banking and created their own fintech incorporating microloans, cashapp-like payments to peers, and paypal-like vendor payments.no skipping steps*
Large swathes of african nations have jumped over coal or petroleum power power production and straight into green energy sources also. Many picked up solar (by necessity) and others like kenya joined the ranks of the highest producing geothermal nations on earth. (i think they are ranked 7 out of 195 countries, outpacing major economies like japan ).
Theoretically, if an African nation could decrease launch costs as radically as Musk did, they could skip into the space race, but i admit its a long shot for obvious reasons.
with all due respect they are a laughably poor nation with a "faux" cleanliness propaganda campaign. Like seriously, just look at their gdp per capita relative to its neighbors.Rwanda if it continues it's trajectory might be capableCan't see anyone other than unfortunately

They arent even using what little wealth they have for good things. Their dictator uses it to it to bully the two other poorer nations in its vicinity (congo and burundi). A nation in their position has no bussiness using its resources to launch exploratory military invasions on neighbors. In a north American context, itd be like El Salvador or Honduras using their few resources to invade Nicaragua.
