A flight attendant spotted Chad Cameron Camp, 26, with his hand near the teen's crotch and a single tear rolling down her cheek, according to the criminal complaint filed on Wednesday.

The family’s lawyer claims Camp touched the girl about 15 times on the June 15 flight before staff noticed.:dame:

He also tried to make small talk with the young girl, but she said he wasn't making sense, according to the complaint. A witness told officials that she saw Camp consume at least four alcoholic drinks in one hour while at the airport bar.

The teen was traveling alone from Dallas to Portland after visiting her father in San Antonio and her family paid an extra fee of $300 for her to be taken care of during her solo travels. Lawsuit incoming in 5, 4, 3.....

According to American Airlines' website, the extra fee of $150 (each way) is for "unaccompanied minor service" for children between ages 5 to 17. :sas2:

"Our unaccompanied minor service is to ensure your child is boarded onto the aircraft, introduced to the flight attendant, chaperoned during connections and released to the appropriate person at their destination," according to the company's website.

American Airlines said in a statement that they are fully cooperating in the investigation and take these matters “very seriously.”

The family's lawyer Brent Goodfellow claimed that nothing was done to ensure the teen's safety while aboard the flight and that it was evident from the beginning of the flight when Camp could have chosen from any seat and specifically sat in a middle seat next to the young girl. :snoop:

"This girl got abused for 30 minutes and no one was to be found" Goodfellowtold the Washington Post. "This was 30 minutes of hell for this young lady." :scust:

When the girl would move Camp's hand and cross her legs, he would laugh and try again, according to the complaint. :scusthov:

He also stood up from his seat and pressed his face against the window, which was about 12 inches from the teen's face, documents state.

"She told this guy over and over, 'stop touching me,'" Goodfellow said. "At one point, he got angry and threw his earphones at her and continued to talk to himself." :why:

It wasn't until the flight attendant came around for drink service that she ordered Camp to change seats and brought the minor to a seat at the front of the plane.

She then notified the captain of the occurrence and Camp was arrested and charged with abusive sexual contact once he exited the plane, according to the FBI.

The complaint stated, "She could see Camp [in the airport terminal] and returned to her stepfather frightened and crying."

On Thursday, Camp appeared in court and pleaded not guilty to the charge, the Oregonian reported. He is being held at the Multnomah County Jail without bail.

Goodfellow told the Post that the teen is traumatized and he watched her jump even when her own mother went to touch her.

“She doesn’t want to be on an airplane ever again,” he said. “This is going to affect the rest of her life.”

Side note I'd never let my daughter fly solo as a minor fukk that.

I'm not a parent but if an airline was offering to take care of him/her without me being present, I'd be reluctant but I'd likely allow it. But now seeing this, it seems like just another "fee" in place with a false sense of security. This shyt could turn into a class-action lawsuit if enough people come forth with similar stories. I know she isn;t the first.

I know people who send their kids on vacation to visit fam etc alone. They've never had problems and the stewardess makes sure they are looked after and they are escorted off the plane to whoever there is waiting to pick them up. I'm sure most times it's pretty safe but I dunno, I probably wouldn't do it

Nah it's actually really safe(from what I remember).

I got assigned to an airport worker, and I wasn't allowed to go ANYWHERE unless they went or said I could.

I mean they stood outside the bathroom, went with me to get food, and the only time I was left alone was when I was put in a room with other kids who were all waiting for their flights to board too.

Once you get on the plane the flight attendant already should know who you are, and they pay extra attention to you.

In fact, most of the times I flew by myself I was seated close to the flight attendants:manny:

They really do everything in their power to not catch a lawsuit. They just fukked up with this girl.
