Enough is enough. Russell Westbrook is bad for the NBA.

Nobody on the Raptors had more than 5 rebounds. Bestbrook had 10 in 28 minutes. So...Is thecoli telling me even the other team is giving him the rebounds now? 16 assists in 28 minutes? The man is just relentless, period.

1. Shows how good his role players are at boxing out.

2. Shows that the myth that his teammates can't make any shots it false.

I hated when they criticized Iverson and Kobe for being ball-hogs, and I hate that's it being used now against Westbrook. How many other players on OKC can consistently create off the dribble for themselves and others? It's a team of roleplayers and one superstar.

As much as folks complain about LBJ not having help, he actually has others and vets who can run an offense. And he has enough help where he doesn't NEED to avg. 30/10/10 like Westbrook may need to. LBJ doesn't NEED too with his supporting cast. Same-thing applies with Golden State, San Antonio, and other teams that share the rock, don't have one player getting all the pts and assist.

Maybe Westrbook doesn't NEED to avg a triple-dub every game, for OKC to win, but there's more than enough nights in which if he doesn't have at LEAST a 30/10 double-double, than OKC is getting run out the gym. It ain't stat-padding when it's necessary.

Westbrook had ZERO offensive rebounds in the game. He's averaging 1.7 offensive boards/game this year, same as he averages every year.

The ONLY difference in his rebounding this year are the uncontested defensive boards his own big men are giving him.

These hot takes are dumb as fukk - talking getting boards from the other team when he doesn't manage a single offensive board the whole game? :mjlol:

So you're saying....He averages more offensive rebounds than any other PG? The same amount as Giannis? More than Porzingis? Hahaha You just dislike Westbrook. It's sad. You should appreciate greatness.

Westbrook is the last of a dying breed. He's all we got left from the iso era that Jordan created. I can't think of anyone with that killer instinct left in the league. You know what's bad for the league superstars going to a championship team. Elite players joining up instead of competing each other. The ghost of the slam dunk contest. 82 games instead of a shorter season. Back to back games. Teams that tank. Weather Westbrook stat pads or not it's way more things that's bad for the NBA before u get to Some One who is gonna put on a show game in and game out

True, the NBA back in the day, had all kinds of people competing with each other, and had heavier risks due to players retiring without a single ring.

He's creating shots for a lot of guys who can't consistently create shots on their own. Russ' tempo and game speed magnifies the offense, OKC is top 3 in the league when it comes to fast break points I believe? That ain't happening without Russell Westbrook.

Also add to the fact that everybody is healthy and together now.

Can all the fakkits in this thread give me an explanation on what you want Westbrook to do instead?

Tell me how the Thunder should be winning. So far I got Westbrook should not have the ball in his hands that much, Oladipo/Abrines/Roberson

WTF? :mjlol:
