Enough is enough. Russell Westbrook is bad for the NBA.

All I got from this is that despite being a HOF player in his prime KD was 2nd in charge on his squad and couldn't get Russ under control.:francis:
Jordan wouldn't be able to get Russ under control. Kobe either. Shaq either. Maybe LeBron could.

Can all the fakkits in this thread give me an explanation on what you want Westbrook to do instead?

Tell me how the Thunder should be winning. So far I got Westbrook should not have the ball in his hands that much, Oladipo/Abrines/Roberson should be running the show with him. Excellent. Russ Should not try to get triple doubles. Don't think anyone can actually post a game where it cost them, but let's run with it, triple doubles is what he's doing wrong. Russ shouldn't shoot 39 times because he only scored 58 points and if you're scoring 1.5 points per shot you're still doing it wrong. Russ shouldn't rebound, he should run down the court and him someone has the ability to actually pass it out to him.

Westbrook might as well camp out in the corner at the 3 point line and show what the rest of the cast can do. He's gotta pull a Kobe at this point and satisfy the morons that think this team would somehow operate better without him doing what he's doing. I'm not saying he couldn't be doing better, but it's downright comical the way you morons spin it and act like he's the problem on the team.

So much so that Durant was right for leaving. :mjlol: Ya because they were so fukking horrible last season, right? That's why they destroyed the 70 win spurs team. That's why they took the 72 win Warriors to 7. Because Russ was fukking awful, that's why they went as far as they did, just garbage.

He needs to fukk up his teammates like Jordan did so they play better...

He's showing he's not a leader.. all these nikkas made it to the NBA so they have some degree of skill. He needs to somehow motivate them, get them to play in his level. I have a feeling russ is in the locker room like "just give me the ball":jawalrus: waiting for an opportunity to score

He's Kobe in those lean years before Phil went back and they got another all star in Gasol

Anyone who legit knows basketball. played it before on any level or has a nuanced understanding of the game knows Russ is stat-padding his ass off.

It's obvious. He's a great player, but a guy like that will never win a ring and co-exist with another star long enough to win one. You think he could be the pg for one of those great MJ/Kobe/Bron led championship teams? Hell no, because MJ/Kobe/Bron wouldn't put up with his reckless playing style and ball dominant ways like KD did for all those years before he finally had enough of it.

This entire post is correct, but I want to be fair for a second. NBA players have been stat padding for decades. I know LeBron was doing that heavy. These guys check their stats each quarter, and the social media to see what's what. When OKC Durant was chasing Bron, he said he was obsessed with seeing what Bron did. Ok he has 20,6, and 5 in the first half. He ends up with 34,13, 8. Let me try to surpass that. He kept it real. People in here are trying to argue that a man that is averaging a triple double for a season is not stat padding? How the fukk is that possible? Russ entire mission, including his Jordan Brand campaign was he'll do what he wants. He doesn't need Durant. I'm going for the MVP, by any means necessary.

My personal MVP race is 1)Harden (you could argue about his game too), 2a) Kawhi (2b) LeBron ( he has a career high in boards and dimes at age 32), then 3) Westbrook. It's going to be very difficult to deny a man this award if he does something ppl said will never happen again, so I would just make him and Harden co-mvps. They had a co-Rookie of the Year before, so why not?

Russ still needs to learn when to take over and when to defer. The game last night vs Portland was an example of everything right and wrong with Russ. He took advantage of Portland's horrible defense and relentlessly attacked the rim for the whole game. But the last half of the 4th, when Portland just started sagging off the pick and rolls, Russ bricked jump shot after jump shot instead of passing the ball and making the better play. If he was hitting it would be different, but it was miss after miss. He single handily brought them back and lost the game for them at the same time.
