Just finished watching and thought it was 
. Agree that the music and animation elevate, what is a fairly traditional love story.
Voice work was on point and I liked they switched to different animation styles a couple times when the friends were telling stories.

Watched it last night, this was actually pretty refreshing to see a Black love story on screen that wasn’t completely toxic.
Love the animation style and the soundtrack too, which is interesting too considering Cudi is pretty hit or miss for me

I haven’t finished this yet but I love it. LOVE IT. Going to come back with more thoughts. But this one is hitting home for me. Really close to home and I don’t even fukk with Cudi like that.

i've seen some pre-production stuff for what he trying to do next. if there is a season 2 for this, wont be for a few years
Hope we get a season 2. There’s a lot of traction even though Cudi mentioned “it was a one off”

Loved it.
The change in personalities and vibe from his ex to Meadow was perfect. Meadow just got his vibe from jump. That’s dope when you meet someone like that.
Meadow had paper but wasn’t pretentious at all that is rare to find.
This was an entire season of Insecure from a male perspective chopped down to 2hrs.
