I agree we must not feel defeated just because of white supremacy. However I also don't think taking advice from rich white people who accumulated their wealth in a climate that gives them privilege while oppressing us is gonna do much.

Most of those billionaire wouldn't even be billionaires without generational wealth established from slavery....

I like how this thread turned into a YouTube comment section.

Solid advice though.

And that's stopping you from making 200 thousand in 2016?

I'm literally at a loss as to how someone opens a thread called "advice from billionaires" watched none of the videos, and instead seemingly only came in here to go on and on whatever bullshyt they wanted to talk about.

It's funny because a lot of times, the resources to improve are there but people will make every excuse not to go after them. I'm not anywhere near rich but damn, wtf are you dudes doing?
Because people want to intellectually stunt by showcasing their knowledge on the effects white supremacy has on black people's abilities to progress. It's a young way of thinking because those of us that have grown older realize not only do you have to push on but the people among us as black people that are actually getting money have a completely different mentality concerning whether or not they're going to let racism stand in their way of getting paid. No one cares about our problems in and outside if the black community. One less person to compete with. No one's coming to save us from outside us.

It's at that point you realize a lot of us are just content with mediocrity and failure and will make excuses for not even getting in the game.

If you're at the top of your field knowledge wise but can't get any money yes you have a legitimate gripe but if you are mediocre average or worse incompetent and are speaking on why you can't get money, you don't belong in the conversation

This whole thing is silly.
There isn't any truly useful advice you can give to someone to make them a millionaire.
Unless you hand then 900k in liquid assets and give them a list of safe investments, and properties that will grow in value exponentially.
People who become millionaires and billionaires, do so 99% because of luck, and 1% working with it.
They win a lottery.
They profit from it.

This and this is the truth for most people regardless of race (we just have the added race issue to use too)

Every person who achieved wealth and influence had a mentor who was wealthy. And gave them advice. Not money. The advice wealthy people have to offer is valuable. Not just giving someone 900k.
