Rumor: EPIC's new game to be revealed at the PS4 Midnight Launch?

Mark Rein is the Vice President and Co Founder of EPIC games and recently on his twitter, he posted a count-down to the PS4 midnight launch, seemed reasonable enough, but then Geoff Keighley announced a GTTV that would be announcing a ton of new PS4 games at the midnight launch and this tied into Mark Rein's previous Tweet and the exact same time. Not to mention Mark Rein "Retweeted" Geoff's Tweet about the GTTV Show and I checked his previous Tweets, he never Retweeted any of Geoff's Tweets about GTTV in the past, how very interesting. Now this doesn't mean EPIC's next game will be a PS4 exclusive, but it's a possibility, considering the fact that Phil Spencer confirmed EPIC aren't working with Microsoft in Podcast Unlocked. Could we see Gears of War 4 on a Playstation platform? That would cause a massive sh*tstorm on the Internet, I can see NeoGaf exploding now, but I'd love to see a New IP, but as far as I know, I'm excited and I cannot wait for the PS4 midnight launch #Greatness...

You have to admit its kinda interesting to see devs that were aligned with one ship to jump to others or be split between both (bungie)
Sony folks took some major blows last year regarding exclusives (metal gear, devil may cry, final fantasy, etc) so its only fair if MS lose some as well...but MS is filthy rich so i dunno

I'll admit I'd be fukking pissed. But honestly having a new honest gears game or even an Unreal would be better than nothing.

Its different, pretty much EVERY PS2 exclusive went multiplat out the gate for Xbox 360.
Companies like Namco went exclusive Xbox route because Xbox was the only system that had an online network that could handle what they wanted to create
Same shyt is happening this upcoming gen with the Cloud. It was waaay more than devil may cry/etc.

Whats different is current gen exclusives, sony gamers would be openly wishing for.
Mass Effect is one that comes to mind. Now every exclusive, since M$ doesn't want to lock down companies anymore
3cepts instantly go "It's a timed exclusive " but that is rarely the case.
Most 1st party companies under sony were forced to close down. Xbox peeped this pattern years ago and with the 360 wanted to help devs make exclusive games without locking them down
Said it was better for those devs and the parent companies. Bungie was free to do whatever years ago
Thats why Halo was handed off the way it was, easy transition from where they were to being where they wanted to be.

Name a sony 1st party dev that has moved on without sony's backing?
Closes thing is INsomniac and they was never a 1st party. They do what Microsoft suggest everyone does
And look at all the games they put out.

I couldn't resist the urge to post here but I just wanted to say -- Epic games have been falling off since Cliffy B left. Their legendary Unreal Tournament franchise is all but dead and their last two Gears of War games were mediocre. It's funny how elite developers fall to shyt once they start earning alot of money and the company starts expanding (i.e.: EA, Capcom, Square).
