Only reason xbox dont have gddr5 is cause they was working on they console first and didnt know if gddr5 would be ready for mass production, sony working on theres a lil later was able to see it was ready

U sound crazy, have u ever played gears seriously like on a real serious level, do u know how hard it is to learm the gnasher shotgun? To learn how to wall bounce? Learning how to work the hammer burst and use actives correctly? Using cover like that?

I wont even speak on halo, cause its explanatory, its most played in competitive gaming events

Counter strike is more competitive/harder to learn than both of those games, FACT

and unreal tournament is on another level above counter strike, FACT

Gears is great but Unreal Tournament takes a shyt on it. It's a shame that the video game industry has abandoned twitch-based arena shooters for psuedo-realistic military shooters like CoD and Battlefield -- games that rely more on connection quality/speed than actual skill. If Epic's new IP is a futuristic, multiplatform, skill-based shooting game then I might get excited for gaming again.

Man are you serious?

-Half the curve to learning the Gnasher was dealing with off-host lag in GoW 1. The spot to blindfire in GoW 1 was the middle of the weapon select grid :comeon: and in GoW 2 and GoW 3 it was just a little bit to the right to accentuate the spread actually coming from the gun, real hard to learn :bryan:.

-Wallbouncing was not hard. Most of the time it was inferior to strafing especially in GoW 1 because the moment you slid into cover you lost control of your character compared to having full control with a strafe. It was only hot when nBawabus did it against LGD because no one knew how to deal with it.

-Wallbouncing didn't get better until you was able to cancel it and at that in a competitive setting you got team-fired down so quickly it was worthless.
-Even at that with strafing, GoW was a slow ass game compared to others.:skip:

-The competitive strats in GoW at high level was simple as shyt. Take Canals for example: Most teams just did one high side, 2 street, 1 snipe.

-It mostly came down to connection when you weren't playing on LAN. When you played on LAN the Lancer/Pistol was the weapon of choice.

-Wasn't hard to time the active reload to the point where it became 2nd nature.

-The Hammerburst was broken as fukk in GoW 2/GoW 3 and simple, all you had to do was spam the trigger. If you learned how to lightly tap the trigger instead of pressing it in all the way you could double the fire rate. Resulting in an actual competitive setting the Hammerburst being banned and having default Lancer spawns.

-The most complex way to using cover was just not doing cover moves such as swat pushes/side-to-sides/jumping over cover since you lost control of your character and it was such a predictable way to move like wallbouncing :comeon:. Also learning to use right hand advantage was okay but are we really going to say that simple ass cover system took that much to learn? GRAW's cover system was much more complex.

Take it from someone who played it competitvely to the point where I never even touched ranked, it didn't take that much skill. The hardest thing coming from Unreal to Gears was dealing with the overwhelming lag in that game.

Halo was harder, but the gun skill in that game wasn't shyt because of the Auto-Aim. CS shyts on that alone just off the fact you have to be so precise with your aim, let's also not talk about knowing when to keep movement down so you don't get soundwhored, they don't do that shyt in Halo. Let's also not talk about the fact that you have to know how to manage your money in CS compared to just spawning with the BR in Halo, or proper smoke placement. Halo was just learning map setups/spawn traps/ and how to team fire (which is something so basic that any gamer should know about that in any shooter competitive or not). I haven't even gotten into learning the spray patterns in CS. I still can't even play CS effectively because of that.

Holy shyt I can't wait until this modern shooter wave fukking dies and gets buried with salt. I remember when they was first going into detail about CoD 4 and I swear I remember them stating they wanted to make the game more accessible to everyone. It makes damn good sense too because I was a god on CoD 4 and I wasn't shyt on CoD 2. I mean I love CoD 4 but that game started all of this shyt and is a cancer on the FPS genre. I'm sick of ADS in every damn game. Sick of custom classes and perks, sick of XP leveling, sick of attachments on my damn guns. Sick of having 1 all purpose gun for every situation. That was a low key beauty of Unreal, all of those guns served a purpose/situation so you had to learn how to use them right.

UT3 was a piece of shyt, you're right about that. But that game was honestly a reason just to market bullshyt GoW 2 and to show off their unreal engine on the console. But as an actual game it would put a lot of people out of business. Too busy trying to cash in on shyt, too busy looking at sales and numbers thinking their game is good when they don't even play the shyt themselves.

God I hope it's a new Unreal Tournament.
