Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
:yeshrug:

Didn't really see any gameplay physics though.

I never understood tech demos though, it's basically a glorified cinematic.

Tech demo's never did anything for me. Show me actual gameplay in action and then I'll be impressed. :manny:

 @ "Gameplay physics"

That is an accurate representation of the graphics you will see from the Unreal Engine since it is being rendered in realtime, what is so hard to understand? The only thing missing from the demos is AI, the engine handles physics on it's own, so saying shyt like "gameplay physics" is comical.

Here's a tech demo from 2002, it featured an early version of Gears of War, and the actual game ended up looking better -

looks way better than U3. hopefully they get rid of the plastic look to the people. we didn't really see many faces in this. word is that demo runs on a single GTX 680.

Unreal Engine is by far the most powerful engine in gaming, and has been for over a decade.

Unreal tournament 2004 looks better than any xbox 360 or ps3 game out TODAY and that game came out in 2003.

Unreal Engine > Quake Engine > Crytek Engine

it used to be KIND of close between unreal engine and quake engine, but now I feel its not close at all.

People talk about how good looking Crysis is, have no idea...

edit: As much as id like for them to make a Unreal Tournament 2014, theres no point.. people dont like challenging games in this era. Actually people never really liked challenging games in any era which is why counter strike, one of the most basic :flabbynsick: fps of all time, was way more popular than Quake and Unreal Tournament. So just keep making them engines, I know thats where they make their real money at anyway

listen dummies, the question isn't if it's "gameplay". the question is if it was running in real-time, and on what hardware

edit: confirmed single gtx 680

how many times have we seen trailers supposedly in real time then the game looks nothing like that

technically you are correct ... but that doesnt always mean they tell you the truth about it

this isn't the trailer for a "game"

it's a demo of what their new engine can do

but it is running in real-time, on consumer hardware, so it's not like some pre-rendered 'cgi' trailer

if its not gameplay it doesnt mean shyt

:snoop: why do you guys even play video games if you are this cynical?

What we have seen so far in terms of graphical prowess from next-gen has been phenomenal. From the Fox Engine to the demos at the PS4 conference to this demo.

Next gen is always about better graphics. All you gameplay suckas don't realize that better graphics add to the quality of the gameplay. The reason physics is wack in games is because the processing power isn't great enough to handle all the calculations needed to render proper physics.

Stop being so lame and appreciate good things when they come your way. Better graphics will always be better for game play. If the game doesn't look realistic then gameplay will never be realistic.
