If I was from that country I would seriously start merking shyt.
- Since the mid-1990s, Equatorial Guinea has become one of sub-Sahara's largest oil producers. With a population of 650,702, it is the richest country per capita in Africa
- Despite a per capita GDP (PPP) of more than US$30,000 (CIA Factbook $50,200) which is as of 2008 the twentieth highest in the world, Equatorial Guinea ranks 121st out of 177 countries on the United Nations Human Development Index.
- The UN says that less than half of the population has access to clean drinking water and that 20% of children die before reaching five.
Meanwhile the President/Dictator's son has $10m worth of cars....some seen here getting towed:
In 2008 he owned one of the 30 models of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4sports car (estimated at 1,100,000 euros) and a Maserati MC 12 at 700,000 euros. He went on to purchase another Bugatti Veyron, and tried to purchase a third. In late 2011, both Veyrons, as well as 9 other cars he owned were seized by French police investigating corruption. In July 2013, the confiscated goods were sold at auction
Obiang spent $315 million on properties and luxury goods between 2004 and 2011.
