Yall keep rehashing copaganda about what's going on but wanna ignore the data.

Crime-stats.jpg

Statistically, the city is the safest its been in 20 years. Murders are down like 75% since the peak of the crack crime in 93.

Miss me with the bullshyt

:camby:
That’s now how NY’ers think it’s much worse now than it was 5 years ago and 468 murders is still a lot particularly because of the areas it’s concentrated to.

Only reason the crime is what it is now is because the city became a police state.

Y’all posting all these stories but the facts still remain if it wasn’t for the criminals committing these crimes the block wouldn’t have been hot in the first place.

Criminals are the reason all these aggressive policing happens in the first place, terrorize your own community and the innocent are the ones who routinely have to deal with the fallout, fukk them all every criminal should be rounded up and executed no remorse.

Nothing you wrote is true. That's your opinion that's not based on anything factual

The assumption is that with greater punishment at the judicial level, that there will be some deterrent to crime. The problem is some crimes have absolutely no deterrence such as homicide and gun possession. Those crimes are life and death therefore if there penalty was life in prison for simple gun possession people would still take that risk. You would end up giving unreasonable sentences to endless amounts of people. This exact trend was seen in the 90's and exact same policy used by Giuliani that actually was ineffective. These draconian and racist enforcement based policies only have a political payout; The victims of crimes do not see their ranks reduce other than a nationwide trend of crime reduction.
Aren’t you a white a dude from Canada?

Why do crime trend downward from the 90s until about 2015?

Why is crime on huge rise now?
That's mainly who's affected by the backlog, though. I still want to know your solution.

My solution has been stated.

there’s no criminal justice reform or fixing crime without solving the illegal gun issue.

Along with that is the repeat offender issue but there are too many illegal guns in the communities

I’m a real nikka. I don’t have to verify anything to a nerd on the internet talking about symptoms :mjlol:
And still you avoid disclosing your ethnicity. Definitely a CAC or some beans and rice river crosser speaking on black issues don’t concern him.

Bbbut you excusing crime because they black. You damn right! I believe in rehab, redemption, and forgiveness for black criminals. I dont think a black person whole life should be ruined because they robbed somebody or stole a car and that is what this tough on crime shyt is meant to do.
If someone robbed your mother or grandfather would you feel the same way?

You would be singing a different tune once some idiot robs or carjack someone you love.

Dudes like you are the reason why the crime is so out of control. You like to cuddle criminals (many of whom are repeated offenders) like their damn toddlers. :mjlol:

1. I'm a black dude from Canada

2. At least a dozen major factors and a hundred minor ones. But if we just go with the idea that stricter enforcement is the reason behind any type of decline, then we simply need to look at the places with the harshest laws in comparison to places with more lax laws. In both cases, the trend upward and downward is uniform across the United States despite the severity of punishment in different state and local jurisdictions. For example, in a city like Chicago a gun offender may face more severe consequences than in Seattle, but both places have seen a rise in gun crimes increasing at roughly the same rate.

3. There is a total economic collapse and the extreme concentration of wealth. The inner city is becoming more of a favela. As the poor get poorer and people become more desperate everyone becomes a criminal. How many millions of Americans scammed EDD with no consequences? Doesn't that make America a nation of criminals? Crime in and of itself is a social construct. Desperation is on the rise and this is the outcome.
