He got elected because of a Covid and he did 4 things

1) he made quid pro quo deals with politicians around the city for his endorsement and he already had a reputation on fulfilling his side of a bargain

2) He had the black church down in Brooklyn and expanded that network to the rest of the city. Black churchgoers is a sizable voting block in NYC

3) he took advantage of the fact every night the whole city was over run with fireworks due to covid and he said he could get the cops out there To stop it

4) most importantly it was Covid which severely affect the word a mouth communication of politics in NYC. It’s legit a major way info spreads. So all the candidates were unknown and he was the most well known of the bunch.

There is no excuse for Cuomo winning and I legit hope, as the election season starts people realize he is a piece of shyt and avoid him. I honestly think people remember him standing up to Trump during Covid and the more shyt goes south with Republicans the more people think he will save us. If Kamala won the election he wouldn’t even think of running.

With said Cuomo knows how to win and he already met with the black church leaders. Any serious candidate in NYC got to meet with the black church leaders and the Rabbis.
