fukk outta here, if I get fukked out in my hometown like that-- you know after being one of the few guys that could draw overseas and in Canada which kept every afloat, and my brother has a fatal freak accident while he was plotting retirement, I'll be like HitGOAT as well.
People say he's bitter, but he tells shyt like it is. He's full of himself, I'll give him that, but let's not act like Hogan doesn't say wild shyt everyday. This is the dude that said Metallica was going to sign him. Bischoff stays quiet for that though.

And not to mention they mocked and buried him for years from 97-2006(when he came back to do the deal with the DVD)

Bret's beef with Dean Malenko (which is mentioned in this podcast) was always kind of random as hell to me. He just went off a random "And while we're at it: fukk Dean Malenko too! :pacspit:" in his book.

A poster at another forum that I used to post at got to ask Bret about that El Dandy line and Bret told him he was a fan of Dandy's work in the ring so he thought he'd shout him out. Same with Psychosis too.

He said Malenko fukked up a corner suplex on the top turnbuckle and tore his groin Breh. Then Malenko ain’t say shyt and got dressed and dipped like nothing happened. I’d be pissed too

That makes no sense lmao. Why would they try killing a feeder system they helped fund and crossed over with all the time?

everytime ECW was about to bust a move, the WWF kicked the chair out from under them.
tazz is a prime example. as soon as ECW is about to premiere on TNN, the WWE swoops in and signs their biggest star & biggest tag team - tazz & the dudleys.

they were doing the same chit to ROH in recent years

Bischoff only signed Bret thinking it was gonna be the final nail in the coffin by taking their main champion. He didn't have shyt for Bret to do

they kept bret in a feud with a big name and eventually gave him the belt, despite not really getting over as a main eventer in WCW.

if thats not having anything to do, then i dont know what to tell you.

They didn't do that to sabotage ecw lol. It's been confirmed vince Russo had a hard on for him it wasn't even done though traditional channels.

The way wrestling is today is what Vince wanted to be the only game in town. Yes they were a feeder system but Vince never wanted ECW guys to be as popular or more popular that his guys. Taz was over huge in ECW and WWF fans popped for him. Why else do you thin RVD never went there when he was in ECW. He knew they would bury him.

Mid 90's Hogan never wrestled in Canada. If he did he would've drew better than Bret. Bret said he was the top draw when the WWF went to Europe in the early 90's but it was apparent that the LOD, Macho Man and Warrior out drew him there too. Bret was never the draw he said he was and was no where near Hogan. Even in Canada. You can't argue that Bret was more popular than Hogan in Canada when Hogan never toured there at that time but if he did he would've done better than Bret. It's like sating Tim Hortons sells more donuts in Canada than Dunkin Donuts
The concept of individuals drawing was on its way out of the door around 93-97 (and died completely after Austin retired and WCW folded), with the way things were around that time its impossible to say who drew what because people didn't buy wrestling shows out of who was on the marquee, WCW had Hogan, Flair, Macho, Luger, Sting, etc which is much much different than say the 80s where the main event was Hogan vs whoever and an undercard of nobodies compared to him(a lot of those nobodies grew to be stars but compared to Hogan at the time they were nothing, people bought into WWF in the 80s because Hogan).

93- 97 is when the brands really started to become the selling point rather than the top stars, you can say Hogan outdrew(btw without providing numbers which makes your claim very very dubious) but the fans HATED Hogan around that time, and not just the internet crowd, he was getting the shyt boo'd out of him during that time, its what prompted him to turn heel and Bret was at the height of his popularity, I think the crowd reaction is more telling to popularity around that time than buys

BUT, lets go by your logic of main event/champion = the reason why people bought into the product, Wrestlemania 10 sold 420,000 PPV's with Bret vs Yokozuna main eventing and Starrcade 94 sold 130,000 with Hogan vs Brutus Beefcake :francis:

Taz said himself that he knew it was a wrap when he got that monster pop at the Garden... For some reason Vince hates when talent he didn't create gets over.

They gave him a sh*t debut dude, gave him a garbage theme, and debuted him as a referee of the fukking Bischoff/ Zybysico match.. Then afterwards just did some directionless feud with Flair Cmon dude
