I remember Bischoff back in his TNA days saying you have to be on TV for 10 years to be a star. He's a much better TV personality than an exec. TNA could have cornered the market on the top indie guys and suffocated WWE future in 2009/2010 and signed all of the young stars that are at the top of WWE today, instead they gave that $ to Sting, RVD, Flair, Nash, etc. With NXT, WWE closed that loophole. Hence Bischoff was a massive failure again in TNA. GFW may as well sign Russo

While i agree some of those signings were bad (Hogan,Hall,Xpac) a lot of the others were great(Flair,RVD, Especially Sting)

But yeah they definitely fukked up when they stopped getting the top indie talent

For that alone he'd be a good hand to have around for an upstart promotion. TNA's production values went way up when he came onboard TNA made that switch to the fly on the wall/spy cam for backstage segments during that time, which super low key is one of the doper and simpler improvements made to professional wrestling.

Got rid of 20 years of dudes just discussing secretive business with a camera just chilling in the room with them as everyone stands in a line with their bodies turned towards the camera talking to each other.

Hopefully that's all he's doing

Jim Cornette Working With Global Force Wrestling
Jim Cornette noted on his latest podcast that he will be working with Global Force Wrestling on their June events in Jacksonville, Florida, and Knoxville, Tennessee.

@Silkk WTF is Jarrett doing? If he's working with Cornette, a lot of those Bullet Club guys (especially the Young Bucks and AJ) are going to be PISSED.

- Jeff Jarrett and Global Force Wrestling have been reaching out to a lot of talents as of late. Jarrett is reportedly going after signed talents who have their ROH or TNA contracts expiring soon and talents who are good but not under contract. Roderick Strong is said to be the biggest name they’ve reached out to but there are rumors they’ve talked to Team 3D, Chris Masters and Shelton Benjamin.

Jarrett has Scott D’Amore and Sonjay Dutt working on the office side of GFW and Dutt has been calling talents. Jarrett has reportedly offered some of the talents the possibility of working 39 dates

Regarding reports of Eric Bischoff and Jarrett saying at a recent Q&A in the UK that Bischoff will be working with GFW, Jarrett denied the story. According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jarrett said:

“If GFW and BHE (Bischoff-Hervey Enterprises) are going to work together, we will not announce it at a Q&A in the U.K. They obviously heard what they wanted to hear.”
