Somebody said Reggie Jackson is better than Eric Bledsoe?

:dead:

And that's my BC Eagle... but....

:deadrose:

:whoa: Ain't nobody say that. I'm saying Reggie thinks he's worth the same as guys getting max/near max deals this summer. Bledsoe not getting a full max helps OKC just not sure how much.

Was pretty surprised at the deal. They said Bledsoe hadnt spoken to any Suns management in months so I figured he was gone. They overpaid cause of his knee situation but but fukk it :yeshrug: see where it goes. Im interested to see how this strategy works out because w/ all these pgs they really are just trying to be able to have the Dragic/Bledsoe dual attack squad out there for 48 minutes every night. Should be exciting.

They either have Isiah as insurance for Eric's impending injuries, of they're trading one of them.

You know you're losing when you're making current deals based on the hope that the new CBA saves you. To go from cap space for two max deals to where they are at now, Suns lost.

Rich Paul won like a motherfukker though. I can salute that.

Nope, again they want to play 2 scoring pgs all the time.

Lol fukk outta here, he was in Houston for 1 full season. We drafted him, he just had a career year, he is home.

I guess they couldn't afford to lose in their eyes a player who would leave a 'undesirable' market. Same with how Utah signed Hayward to that contract.

Dragic and Bledsoe seemed to work. So what I don't understand was the point of grabbing Isiah?

Personally, I think it's a wash.Giving the same playing time & opportunities Bledsoe had in the Suns system this past year, I think Reggie would either match or exceed Bledsoe's numbers.....Reggie's already a better offesnive player IMO.Bledsoe has him on D, tho.

Because of Hornacek's system and the way that they played, all Suns players had inflated stats last year. They make 17ppg players into 20ppg player...14 ppg into 17ppg.It's not a coincidence that EVERY Suns player overachieved last year.

I don't know why this surprises anyone, McDonough made it clear a while ago he was going to give Bledsoe an offer he couldn't refuse.

Surprise to me. I don't think Bledsoe is all that good. I'm not sure he's better than Isaiah Thomas.

He's a lot better. Can defend and play both guard positions, very versatile. Only problem is they have a lot of money tied up in 3 short guards, and average players at both forward positions. They could find themselves on the outside looking in again.

No. Reggie isn't nearly as strong or fast as Bledsoe. Bledsoe shoots a better clip from distance, he gets to the line at a MUCH higher rate, and he puts more pressure on the opposing defense than Reggie Jax, and it isn't really close.

Even if you adjust for pace, Bledsoe takes it..

Per 100 possessions
Bledsoe: 27 Points, 8 Assists, 7 Rebounds,
Jackson: 23 points. 7 assists, 7 rebounds,

And Bledsoe is a much, much, much better defender than Reggie Jackson. They are disparate talents. And, like I said... Reggie Jackson is my guy, that's a BC basketball player doing work, you know I'll go to bat for him. But Bledsoe is a step up in talent. A significant step.
