Notice how people Eric Reid is telling us exactly what Kaep thinks and how the message is lost and people barely come to this thread

nikkas are more concerned with NBA vs NFL wars and using the protests to leverage dumbass arguments. We got c00ns like @AVXL now claiming that people angry about Kaep being boycotted are "aligned ideologically" with Trump supporters and racist cacs:snoop:

He thinks that [the weekend's protest] was a direct response to, obviously, what the president said," Reid said. "He wishes that this many people were involved last year. I don't think the narrative would have went in as many directions as it went if we had more solidarity. We could have focused in on these issues, but we have got to be pragmatic about it. We have this opportunity now, and it's important that we discuss the issues and make changes."
:snoop:

At this point I'm tired of the kneeling. That's how bad it's got.

But, I'll keep the faith.

Keeping the messaging on police brutality is the most important thing at this point.

Trying to change the narrative the military disrespect was a deflection tactic from the beginning, but it has been addressed enough.

The next step for people is to arm yourself with knowledge on the topic so that it's not just a buzzword. You need to have enough information to actually be able to think on your feet when discussing it.

They let cacs bully them into making it about unity, the message is about the oppression & police brutality that black people face. I focus on us because saying "people of color" makes it easier to push us to the back.

I don't think it was lost tbh, it was an issue the country actively avoids discussing. Any time people talk about "how" an issue is brought up as opposed to the actual issue itself you know it is :mjpls: It's like when media outlets dig in to the past of Trayvon or any of the other guys that were shot knowing fully well that adding that to the mix steers the conversation away from police tactics into endless debates about extraneous factors that the police officer would have known nothing about before they shoot. I will just leave this summary of polls taken during the civil rights movement. Notice that whether it was sit-ins, demonstrations etc the overall impression
