:stopitslime: u must have been SHELTERED as a child

eric sermon was VERY MUCH on the scene in ATL.....

Everytime the OLD HOT 97 station now known as 107.9 broadcasted from the club's ..you would hear dj Emperor Searcy shout Eric out as he entered the venue..,

he use to be at the Atrium club a lot and I remember seeing him at a car detail spot in Greenbriar back when Freaknik was popping

and as far as BILL CAMPBELL he is THE reason ATL NIGHT LIFE and ENTERTAINMENT BLEW UP by letting clubs stay open till 6am and his connection to the LANDMARK STRIP CLUB.....THE GENTLEMAN CLUB paved the way for MAGIC CITY

Damn I don't even know if this shyt is true or not, but you just gave homie that ether if it is. Gotdamn, dropped knowledge on homie.

nikka you must be old as dirt because I'm 31 and Eric Sermon was one of the first National rap nikkas to be on the scene in the A but that was back when I was literally in grade school. That nikka is a nobody on the music scene in Atlanta now. Not taking shyt away from what he did with EPMD cuz that does deserve props. But to sit here and say he is Atlanta is laughable at best bro. Real shyt.

And name drop all you want to patna. I know Mr. Magic nikka, my pops and him go way back. And a nikka I played ball with in HS was the manager at Magic for like 5 years. Mike Childs is my best friends first cousin. I've had thanksgiving dinner with him and Bo at his Uncle Andy house down on Veltre. I was in Nikkis, Screaming Wheels and the Flame when I was still in middle school patna. I don't even stay in the A no more and I can walk into the Flame right now and get free drinks and dances all night. I ain't no major nikka like that but I know people. Miss me with those tales of Atlanta in the early 90's cuz the people who ran the city then don't run shyt now

He didn't say Erick Sermon ran the city now lol.

nikka Atlanta had 24 hour night clubs in the 70's. Years before Bill Campbell even moved to Atlanta. Folks like my parents was moving to Atlanta in the early 80's from up north. My pops used to tell me how the first time he came to the A was in 78 and it was to go to a picnic at the AUC. That same picnic became Freaknik. Atlanta night life been jumping since the Club Sisqo days on Campbellton Rd in the early 80's. And to keep it 100 SOS Band, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis were the first folks to put the A on the map and that was back in the late 70's early 80's too. fukk is both yall saying??????

Wrong. Terry Williams and Jimmy Jazz put Baby face on who in turn put LA Reid on who in turn opened it up for everybody else

Why do nikkas like you like to be loud and wrong

Larry Blackmon had a record label called Atlanta Artists back in the early to mid 80s while laface was still tied to SOLAR in LA before these dudes even were together in Manchild or Deele.

and you talking nonsense about Terry Williams(his name is Lewis) and Jimmy Jazz(name is Jam) they were stationed in Minn,.

Learn your history and shut the fukk up Larry Blackmon had a recording studio and a record label that was in ATL bobby recorded his first LP there and then when he hit it big in 89 bought a huge house down there and opened his label and studio and then Laface followed and the rest is history.

The south got real guns since when?

Only place in the south thats known 4 gettn down is the n.o ,

iLL Wait

The south gets no respect on the east , From Bmore To NY , Philly, Even up to Boston

Bro literally every major city in the country has a higher per capita murder rate than NY. And how can yall take over down here when we have better work and cheaper prices than yall? I swear yall internet nikkas tell on ya selves when yall have that whole "NY runs the south" argument. Stop taking internet pics with fake guns and go grind a pack. Any moron who knows anything about the flow of work knows yall touch most packs last. Go take a economic 101 class you dumb fukk. shyt is more expensive the farther it is from its source. Yall nikkas paying damn near twice for work that we have stepped on and yall nikkas gonna come down here and run anything? You a clown nikka
