people really overlook how long erick sermon was doin' his thing. we talkin' bout the late 80's then all throughout the 90's with his own shyt, then red's, keith murray, the squads, red and meth's project, the reunion of him and pmd and remixes (d'angelo, jodeci, etc)

he was everywhere with his music. i don't care what anybody says but he's in my top 5 of hip hop producers. he's had one of the best runs in all of hip hop.

what i always find funny about the episodes is that whenever they go through the vinyl i always hear some shyt and my mind starts to make the beat in my head and then they just lift the needle and go somewhere else while i'm all cause they're not using it. that's the beautiful thing about it though. everyone has their own vibe and inspiration.
