I spent a couple hours just going through and listening to this series... overall pretty dope...
honestly, aint no such thing as unusable records for beat making. At the absolute worse you can cut it up to shreds and just wholesale play something tight with individual notes and chords and hits.
the green eyed bandit came off doing what appears to be pretty close to that technique
I do like seeing the different dudes workflows though, i was real interested in that one with Brenmar because his process was super foreign to how i have seen beats made before...
Overall i think Marco Polo was the most impressive to me, cause he took wack bar long samples and made something dope, where as everyone else who made something dope either found a good loop on their record, or else cut down to the individual notes and sounds and played something dope...
