Can't believe Redman isn't on this. First time he isn’t featured on an Erick Sermon album, including the compilation.

Keith Murray's streak is intact, though.

As far as this dropping out of nowhere, I put in on the Kickstarter over a year ago. Where's my shyt, Erick?

How much did he raise?

im seriously wondering why folks in here are surprised too.. :dahell:

Erick Sermon has been one of the most consistent artists/producers in hip-hop.. his EPMD, Def Squad & solo catalog speaks volumes.. like a said earlier- ALOT of these rappers & producers is EPMD(especially Erick Sermon) sons...

This.

He gets underrated as fukk for having transition from the old school to the new school with 0 problems. Plus his old music doesn't sound dated to me.

:ohhh: can we talk about the solo lp run erick had in the 90s
Double Or Nothing:ohlawd:

My favorite Erick Sermon Production era was when he was on his Cosmic Slop shyt and gave us Double Or Nothing, Dare Iz a Darkside, The Most Beautifullest Thing, Fade Em All, Insomnia

Then he changed his whole sound with El Nino, I was like:martin:

Yessir....I loved that spaced-out Cosmic Slop E-Double production. I had wished he'd returned to that format..but according to Red a lot of dust and acid was used when creating that sound. ..at least by him.:wtf:

The tripped out part about it he always said Dare Iz A Darkside was his least favorite album and Muddy Waters was his best which is why he's creating a sequel.

Wheres the craig mack feature?

This album is phenomenal :blessed::ohlawd: :banderas:

He died last year

Nah Eric said he did a whole album with him... or something like that.
:ohhh:

I know you said you were working on a Craig Mack album on Twitter. Do you have enough material for it to be finished?

Oh yeah, I'm finished. It's crazy because it's like, the Method Man [single] was a warm-up to get to [the fans]. The record wasn't even finished, I was just seeing how I was going to pull it together. I was just putting that together to see what it was, but again, that was just random vocals that I had that we're coming with. It just happened that he didn't get a chance to hear it or see it happen.
