How does this simple concept escape you?

Slaves PREDOMINATED from certain regions. On that fact a lone, thats a genetic bottleneck that influences later assessment on the MAJORITY of assessment people would find about their origins.

1. The studies and videos you have presented only compare Africans to Asians, Europeans etc. They do not compare Old World blacks to New World blacks. Also, didn't I tell you not to refer to San-Bushmen and Baka Pygmies but solely the populations which constitute New World blacks. I guess desperation was needed on your part...

2. Even if slaves came from certain areas it doesn't mean that there has to be a genetic bottleneck. If your assertions about the uniqueness of Old World black DNA is correct, why would there be a genetic bottleneck in say the Slave Coast which contains the Yoruba, Ijaw, Efik, Fon etc etc etc. Or did Africans only become genetically diverse within that magical 200-300 genetic "leap" time period you keep insinuating to?

I agree...how exactly do "we" as AAs know the exact tribe when they were all basically foreigners to each other on the slave ships talking in foreign tongues..sometimes enemies...yet, in the end it was race that "mongrelized" the African tribes in the U.S. and Western Hemisphere.... so you may get one tribal group, but it'll be difficult to know exactly the whole shebang...but its better than not having any clue at all about tribe/ethnicity.........which has essentially been the case for centuries for AAs... ...no connection to Africa, other than knowing a general region...western Africa...

Those problems being:
1. Who are these individuals? Are they actually Bamileke or Mandinka? If so, to what degree. Case example, Hausa-Fulani admixture in Northern Nigeria.
2. How broad is their sample collection? The only way for them to accurately prevent their findings is if they have gathered all ethno-linguistic genetic results in West and West-Central Africa (and Mozambique and Madagascar since a small minority of slaves came from there)
3. Is there actually a lot of genetic differences between say an Asante and a Fante person?

You can refer to my post on this if you so choose to do. However, I think you may not do so because you may be retreating to the pharmacy to deal with that sore rectum that Bruno from the gay bar has dealt you.
