Was just listening to this on the radio with my 14 year old godson today.

He asked me what the song was about.

I had to explain it was about the issues couples have when dealing with the grandmother i.e. 'Ms Jackson' when the relationship isn't working out for the better.

Because of course Big Boi had the 1st verse..and was spitting ether..

super common knowledge. Because that was the first question everyone asked: "who the fukk is Ms Jackson?"

Growing up, I wasn't into Outkast like that (still not). I loved the song Atliens and that was it. Nobody around me played them like that. But when Ms Jackson came out, that shyt went nuclear.
